Aspire Tuition was founded by experienced teachers, Andrea and David Parkinson. They, like many other teachers, recognised that the pressures of an overloaded curriculum, large class sizes and behaviour problems prevent many students achieving their full potential in school. Aspire Tuition offers tuition in English and Maths (other subjects may also be available depending on demand) to students at any level from age 7 up. Students benefit from individual programming using many of the best educational products on the market, relaxed ratios of teachers to students (usually 1 to 4) ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, professional teachers, continual assessment and reporting to parents – everything a parent wants for their child.

we know it's not easy

In these days of intense competition, rising levels of unemployment and increasing specialisation in the job market, a sound education is becoming a major factor for success. Most employers and college courses require passes at C or above in GCSE English and Maths. With less than 40 percent of students in Swindon achieving this, it is apparent that the majority of Swindon students will struggle or find it impossible to fulfil this basic requirement leading to discrimination against them in the job market.  

we recognise how difficult things can be

Whether working towards GCSE or in Primary education, many students may require support at some point in their school career to fulfil their potential. Well-meaning parents find themselves unable to the give the level or type of support required – perhaps because of long working hours, limited knowledge of the teaching methods or because of the, inevitable, clashes that can occur when a parents tries to take on the teacher role. As parents ourselves we recognise how difficult this can be.

so what do we offer?

At Aspire Tuition we offer a range of personal tutoring programmes in English and Maths (other subjects may be available) to suit every ability, pace and aspiration. As qualified experienced teachers you can be assured that programmes and methods all relate to the National Curriculum and / or current exam syllabus
